How can it be??? Madalyn is getting ready for middle school! This week they had elective registration and we went on a tour of her new school. I remember bringing her home from the hospital and now we are winding down on elementary school! It's one of those things you always know if coming but you are never ready when it does. We are going to enjoy the next few months of 5th grade and then finish prepping for 6th!

So....clearly I stink at updating a blog!! Everything is well with the Looneys. Madalyn just turned 11 and is in the 5th grade. Bayleigh will be 6 in a month and is in kindergarten. They are growing amazingly fast! We are still in Colorado and loving it! The girls just started ski school at Winter Park and have advanced so much in just one lesson. 

Justin is working at EY in Denver and just entered his busy season. We should see him sometime middle of February! He is enjoying his time skiing on the weekends as well. Of course he is good at it...he's good at everything! 

I am still staying home with the girls. It keeps me plenty busy and I enjoying being home when they leave and return from school. 

We spent most of the summer updating our house and making it feel more like home. It looks amazing but we are ready for it to be done! Hopefully I will be better at getting this updated!!

Nana and Pappy moved here at the end of March. We have loved having them here for many reasons!!! While the girls were spending some time with Nana, Justin and I were finally able to go on our first hike alone. The girls usually come with us but it's normally slow going and takes forever!! We had an awesome time and look forward to many more adventures. 

Easter 2015

The Looney's are still in Colorado and loving it. I won't backdate all he stuff from 2014 that I missed. Just trust that it's been great!! These are a couple of photos of the girls from Easter. We spent the day with my friend Megan and a had a great time. The girls are stinkin' cute and had a great time with all the other kiddos and hunting eggs. 

Camping New Mexico Style!

This past weekend we went camping with Pappaw (John) in New Mexico. The girls had a great time and for the most part the weather was great!! Tres Ritos is a favorite camping site and it's always fun when we get to spend time with our family.

Second grade...here we come!!!

Madalyn started second grade last week!! She is pretty excited about going back to school and seeing her friends again. She got a great teacher and has several of her friends from last year in her class. We are all looking forward to a wonderful 2014-2015 school year!!!

The Looney's Have Moved!!!!

We are now in Aurora, Colorado as of December 2013!!! It was a lifestyle change move and so far has been worth it!! I miss my friends and family terribly but I wouldn't trade the time we've been able to spend together as a family for anything. Madalyn loves her new school and Justin loves his new job. I am at home with Bayleigh but looking forward to volunteering at our church and Madalyn's school. Here are a few recent photos and updates will be coming a lot more often...hopefully!!

Just because it's 60 degrees outside and we aren't really ready for winter, doesn't mean we can't go play at the park:):) This is freezing weather for us but we have to take advantage before it gets really cold out!! Over the summer they put in a really great park down the street from us and I have to say I may like it more than the girls do!! If they will ever finish the landscaping it will probably be one of my favorite places to go!!

Yep...it's really been over a year since my last post!! It's been a very busy last few months!! I am FINALLY a stay-at-home mom to the two coolest kids on the planet!! Bayleigh is 20 months now and probably the smartest little child I know! Madalyn will be 7 in less than a month and is doing fabulous in 1st grade. Being home with them full time is exhausting! I can't lie about that but it is the absolute most rewarding job in the WORLD!! I get to see everything they do each day and be here for each of them when they need me. Sometimes I do wish I employed a house keeper, chef, etc. But just being here is enough for me right now! Justin and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary earlier this year and went to Vegas. We've been together for 15 years and of course it's had it's ups and downs but I have loved it all. Life is hectic right now but I can't think of anything I would change (except maybe the house keeper part). Hopefully I can be better about updates on here. Just don't hold your breathe!!

Day 8: I am thankful for my mom and sisters.

Even though I don't see or talk to them nearly as much as I'd like to I am grateful to have them in my life. My goal for 2013 is to get us ALL in the same place at the same time!!! I love you all!!!
